A book by Agnes Studio

Estefanía de Ros and Gustavo Quintana-Kennedy of Agnes Studio are joined by Photographer Andres Altamirano o on a journey across Guatemala. Together, they capture the story of 'Amuletos', Agnes’s first solo show in Mexico City.

This book, ‘Viaje a Los Amuletos’, is their 'Journey to Amuletos'. It is an exploration and documentation of Guatemala’s cultural and artistic heritage. It is a journey of discovery, of materiality and of place – a search for the symbols and elements of good luck and fortune that connect us as humans, weaving together the threads of ancient tradition and contemporary design.

With photographs by Andrés Altamirano and a poem by Rosa Chávez
